Because this is how we roll in Louisiana....

You might be a Redneck Jedi if:
1 You ever heard the phrase, "May the force be with y'all."
2 Your Jedi robe is camouflaged.
3 You have ever used your light sabre to open a bottle of Bud Light.
4 At least one wing of your X-Wing is primer colored.
5 You can easily describe the taste of an Ewok.
6 You have ever had a land-speeder up on blocks in your yard.
7 The worst part of spending time on Dagobah is the dad-gum skeeters.
8 Wookies are offended by your body odor.
9 You have ever used the force to get yourself another Bud Light so you didn't miss an interview with any of the Allisons on CMT.
10 You have ever used the force in conjunction with fishing or bowling.
11 Your father has ever said to you, "Shoot, boy come on over to the dark
side...it'll be a hoot."
12 You have ever had your R2 unit use its self-defense electro-shock thingy to get the barbecue grill to light.
13 You have a confederate flag painted on the hood of your land-speeder.
14 You ever fantasized about Princess Leia wearing Daisy Duke shorts.
15 You have the doors of your X-Wing welded shut and you have to get in through the window.
16 Although you had to kill him, you kinda thought that Jabba the Hutt had a pretty good handle on how to treat his women.
17 You have a cousin who bears a strong resemblance to Chewbacca.
18 You suggested that they outfit the Millennium Falcon with a redwood deck.
19 You were the only person drinking Jack Daniels during the cantina scene.
20 When your light sabre opens, it plays a few bars of "Dixie."
21 You want to send your speeder bike to Orange County Choppers for overhaul.
22 If you hear . . . "Luke, I'm your father...and your uncle."

fooooooood

It's a girl in my religion class' birthday today. All of her food (four cakes, two things of cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and more concealed in a bag that I cannot see) is sitting right next to me. It is soooooo tempting. Damn you, sixth hour lunch.

I remembered!

I finally remembered what I forgot! I frequent a website called YouthNoise. Every year, they have a survey asking our thoughts on the website, what we liked, what we didn't like, what we would like to see in the future, etc. In order to give people an incentive to take the survey, they offer a prize. They pick a random person out of all of the people who took they survey to receive the prize. Usually it is just some random person who doesn't really use the site regularly. This time, however, I was selected! The prize that was presented to me was a choice: an 8G ipod touch, or $300 donated to the non-profit organization of my choice. I have yet to decide which I want. I already have an ipod, but it would make a great graduation gift for my sister. I feel kind of selfish picking the ipod though. Then there is the choice of which organization to donate to. I have until Monday to decide, and I know it will take me that long to decide. Decisions, decisions....

Vibram FiveFingers!

My new Vibram FiveFingers came in today! They are made for barefooting. I ordered them off of ebay for half of the retail price. They are almost perfect. My only complaint is that they pinch my left pinky toe. I am hoping that if I wear them that they will stretch some to accommodate it. My family thinks I am crazy for getting them, but I know I will get my use out of them, especially this summer when I am camping. They say that they can be used for light hiking too, but my mother said that I needed more support when I go hiking, and I kind of agree. That will not stop me from bringing the shoes with me though. I am super excited to try them out though. I think I will be going up to the local boy scout camp next weekend to run their climbing and repelling walls, so I will take them on their first "official" test run then, because just wearing them around my house really doesn't count. I think there was something else I wanted to include in this post, but I cannot remember what it was. If I remember what it is, I will post it later. Out.

Oklahoma!

is over..... D: After spending every day for the past month and a half with these people rehearsing, the play is finally over. I am having drama withdrawals. The cast was like my family, and now I don't get to see them every day. I feel as if my life is over. Not really, but I do miss all of my friends. It was weird yesterday, being home at 3:30. I wish that we did more than two drama productions in a year, and more than one big one. I also wish that all of the drama kids did speech and debate. But I guess we can't get everything we want. /angst
